Destin Weddings: How to Incorporate a Boat Rental into Your Wedding

1. Groomsmen arrival- Who says your groom and his groomsmen have to stand at the altar? Have them arrive by boat! We can pick up the men in your wedding and drive them to the ceremony where they will be dropped off in style. This makes for such a fun entrance, and will have your guests talking about it for years to come! You will, of course, need to have a venue booked on the water. We like the Destin Bay House. Boat rental rates vary depending on the time of year, time of day, and length of time required. A captain is included, so no one needs to worry about driving the boat. Call us for details!

2. Getaway- Getaways by boat are so much fun! Your guests can line the dock during your sendoff as a married couple as you make your departure by boat. Who doesn’t love riding off into the sunset with the one of their dreams? Boat getaways also include a captain. Rates vary and typically range from $175-300.

3. Reception – We have had some FUN weddings, where the bride and groom rented multiple boats to go out to Crab Island and take photos, hang out, and have a good time during their reception. Talk about a memorable experience!

4. Have the ceremony ON the boat! We have done sailboat weddings and pontoon boat weddings. Perfect for very small, intimate groups.
